Let’s go!
We can’t wait to celebrate with you in Mexico City. Below are the top things you need to know for getting in and around.
In addition, we’ve put together a list of FAQs, some of which are specific to travel, as well all of our favorite places and things to do.
Where To Stay
Aguascalientes 158, Colonia Condesa, Cuauhtémoc, 06100
IMPORTANT: Use this link when booking your room for our special discounted rate. No need to call, but if you do, mention the Tibbs wedding.
P.S.: Andaz Mexico City is a Hyatt (in case you have Hyatt points you want to use).
Looking to stay elsewhere? Not to worry—Mexico City has plenty of great hotels and Airbnb options! We recommend looking in the Condesa or Roma Norte neighborhoods for a fun, walkable stay close to great restaurants, cafés, and bars. For more on CDMX neighborhoods, click here.
Getting In
You’ll fly into Mexico City Airport (MEX), and we recommend booking flights 2-5 months in advance to ensure availability and reasonable pricing. We like Kayak for this.
Remember to CHECK YOUR PASSPORTS. The passport must be valid for the entire length of your trip.
Getting Around
There are multiple ways to get downtown from the airport. We recommend Uber; it’s the same app you use in the States and it’s very affordable. You can also schedule a verified taxi, which are conveniently parked outside of arrivals.
Mexico City is a super walkable (and bikeable) city, with a bustling transit system. Ubers and taxis are readily available throughout the city - just beware of rush hour traffic.
